New visit to Gisselfeld Klostercafe.
Have taken new pictures at Gisselfeld Klostercafe in Haslev, south of Copenhagen.
The cafe is now run by the couple behind Villa Gallina Nicholas and Lise Dark, and they have also
changed the interior, that gives a lighter and very summerly look.
They serve open Danish sandwiches, coffee and cakes.
Lovely for a nice weekend excursion, and a visit to the park and, Paradehuset.
And I had the pleasure of drinking coffee with the countess, how often can you say that....hi hi

Back from summer holiday.
Sunday the last evening of my summer holiday, so back to normal life and work tomorrow.
We had 14 fantastic days with absolutely great summer weather, which was so very lucky
as we had decided to spent most of our days in Denmark, where there is no garanti for good
weather. Usually we go to southern Europe with sun garanti.
We were going on three mini vacations - three long weekends and the rest of our days we would just
hang out in hometown Copenhagen.
Just before my holiday I gave in, I bought myself an iPhone, had refused it for so long, how stupid,
I simply love it now, particular the camera and all the nice photo apps. So nice to take a photo and
poste it right away..........sometime I am so thickheaded.
So now I am also on Instagram with following profile: http://instagram.com/tinabrokhansen#
It would be nice to see you following me there.
Well first trip we went to Jutland the mainland of Denmark, picked up my mother, who lives in
Ebeltoft and moved up to the absolutely top of Danmark to Skagen, where the two seas Kattegat
and North Sea meets. Fascinating and rough nature.
We stayed one night at the beautiful and very romantic Hjorths Badehotel at Kandestederne.
Great dinner where we celebrated my mothers birthsday.

Back again in Ebeltoft staying with my mother we visited this great museum, it was like stepping
back in time. In the old days they were dying and printing textiles at this little farm, and you really got a very good view in how they lived and worked then. And I with my phone and apps went photo
amok.
Back in Denmark again we had a weekend in northeren Seeland at my favorite place Tisvildeleje.
Spent a couple of nights at the romantic Helenekilde Badehotel and had an absolute good dinner menu, would love to go again soon aswell.
A very nice summer holiday with a lot of impressions.

Next mini vacation was 4 days in lovely London, and it was warm............would like to go back soon.
I mannaged The London Eye despite my klaustrofobia, I actually enjoyed it, it was nice and cool inside the cabin.

New bakery "Brød" in Copenhagen.
Aller Media, Dk has come out with a new lifestyle magazine "Countryliv", it has earlier come out
as an insert in Isabellas Magazine, but now for the first time it has been launched as a seperate
magazine. The first January issue is about bread and baking, and I have been so lucky to have
an article in this first issue.
My neighbourhood has got a new fantastic bakery called "Brød". They make the most fantastic
bread, their speciality is a big rustic bread, with the perfect soft crum and crispy crust. The people
behind the new bakery are Keld Petersen and his girlfriend Camilla Lilleør, they are known from
the popular kiosk "Kihoskh".
"Kihoskh" have had a big impact on the local athmosphere at Vesterbro area, the Copenhagen West End where Keld opened it back in 1986. Pepole are hanging out there, they sell a good coffee, have the biggest assortment of special beers, sell unique magazines and they are supporting local artists by selling their music and books, and in summertimes there are concerts and book launchings. All in all a very creative place. And now they have become bakers as well, and all the creativity is following along.
I have shot the following pictures from the bakery "BRØD".
Locations:
Brød
Enghave Plads 7
Copenhagen V
Kihoskh
Sønder Boulevard 53
Copenhagen V

I have become addicted to my little 10 o'clock morning coffee and "Rughapers" from Brød bakery,
"Rughapser" is a little rye bread with dates and figs, and tastes fantastic with butter and a good
cheese and sips of good coffee. My first ever Sticky Bun I got from Brød bakery, and now I am
hooked on them as well.
Keld have been so kind to give out the bakerys recipe for Sticky Buns, you can find it at my other
food blog clemmensen-brok.com
Enjoy

Fantastic Kinfolk
Saturday I rushed to the postoffice to pick up the latest Kinfolk magazine and went to my local café.
Kinfolk Magazine and a nice coffee really saved this grey January day in Copnehagen. What a fantastic magazine, great poetic pictures and well written articles, Kinfolk warms my heart.
