It is always a great pleasure to shoot pictures in this old traditional paint fabric
Farvefabrikken Skovgaard & Frydensberg just outside Copenhagen.

Skovgaard & Frydensberg produce linseed oil paint, after old tradional methods.
Their colors can be seen all over Copenhagen on the cityes old buildings. They also deliver their handcrafted Linseed oil paint to Danish Castles, Tivioli, the green park benches and the red gates of Dyrehaven.

Kinfolk Magazine volume seven.

Now I finaly can buy my absolute favorite magazine - Kinfolk - in my local kiosk, they are
now distributing the magazine:

Kinfolk volume seven really matches the outside of Kihoskh. Their tables and benches have just been paintet for spring in this great green color, and we are looking forward to warmer weather and cozy gatherings at the lawn infront of Kihoskh.

Fantastic Kinfolk

Saturday I rushed to the postoffice to pick up the latest Kinfolk magazine and went to my local café.

Kinfolk Magazine and a nice coffee really saved this grey January day in Copnehagen. What a fantastic magazine, great poetic pictures and well written articles, Kinfolk warms my heart.

MAX A5 art show in Copenhagen

Yesterday Saturday 24. November 2012 we had a very interesting exhibition at my old studio
at Vaernedamsvej 7A - MAX A5 in Kontor Gallery´s locations.

All works are small formates max A5. And sold to very small prices from Dkr. 100,- - Dkr 350,-

Scraps by Christine Clemmensen for Isabellas Magazine.

Christine Clemmensen and I made this article for The Danish lifestyle magazine Isabellas for this August 2012 issue. Christine my very good friend and blog partner on clemmensen-brok.com is master of Scraps and made these fantastic Scraps.We had fun styling them and I did the photowork.

Yes, hard work but we had great fun, good coffee and nice lunch, which is important for being creative.

Below are some of my favorite shoots, some used in the Magazine and some are extra shoots.

I really love the old box with all the old stamps, the tray with some old goodies Christine has collected during her years of doing scraps. She goes to fleemarkets and secondhand shops to find her treasures, keeps old giftpaper, wrappings and other things most of us throw in the bin, but for Chtistine small jewels.  Christine also made a very interesting book about doing Scraps with our former boss Elsebeth Günther, you can find the book on her blog.
